Who I am
Sixty-ish, Sydney-based where I live on the beautiful Northern Beaches with my husband and life partner. As a former banking CFO, consulting partner now company board director, I have mostly traded financial statements for snapshots—wildlife, travel, fitness, and tried to capture life’s untamed beauty and in my own small way, raise awareness of the urgent action needed to conserve wildlife and their natural habitat under the shadows of climate change and continued human expansion. Amateur photographer striving to improve while juggling work commitments.

What I am doing
My objective is to attempt to use my photography to shine some light on the incredible wildlife we still have and the urgent need to protect it. I have been fortunate to visit and to photograph a number of countries particularly in Africa where I lived for 4 years. In my small way through my images, I hope to inspire curiosity, appreciation, and, most importantly, action. I have attached a page in Wildlife NFP’s you may contribute to.
Let’s not just admire wildlife—let’s fight for it.

Why it matters
The world is losing wildlife at an alarming rate—habitat destruction, climate change, and poaching are pushing over 1 million species toward extinction. Since 1970, global wildlife populations have declined by an average of 69%, and entire ecosystems are under threat. Photography has the power to connect people to nature in a way that statistics alone cannot. By sharing these images, I want to make the unseen visible, to turn admiration into advocacy, and to remind people that conservation isn’t just about saving animals—it’s about preserving the balance of life on Earth.
