London-born, Sydney-raised. After 30 years of living and working abroad, I returned to Australia to embrace the next chapter of life. My career has spanned continents and phases: from Investment Banking CFO in London, with stints in New York and Hong Kong, to Partner at Deloitte in Johannesburg and Sydney. Today, I wear multiple hats as a Board Director, freelance consultant, and passionate wildlife amateur photographer committed to raising awareness of wildlife conservation.
Sixty-ish, Sydney-based adventurer. Gay and proud. I’ve swapped spreadsheets and financial statements for camera lenses and the pursuit of untamed moments. Travel, wildlife, food, wine and fitness fuel my soul, and I’m fortunate to share these adventures with my husband who is my life partner of over 22 years, Jeremy.
While I’m a self-confessed amateur photographer, my objective is clear: to spotlight the urgent need for wildlife conservation. Experts estimate that between 0.01% and 0.1% of all species become extinct each year. With approximately 2 million species identified, that translates to 200 to 2,000 extinctions annually—and if the total number of species is closer to 100 million, the figure could rise to a staggering 10,000 to 100,000 extinctions per year.
The 2024 Living Planet Report by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) reveals a 73% average decline in monitored wildlife populations between 1970 and 2020—a sobering reminder of the biodiversity crisis we face.
Through my photography, I hope to not only share the beauty of wildlife but also inspire others to care about the fragile balance of our natural world. If my images bring even a moment of joy—or a spark of awareness—then the effort is worth it.
